How to Play Sudoku

The goal

A sudoku grid is 9×9, split into nine 3×3 boxes. Some cells start filled. Your job is to fill the rest so that every row, every column, and every box contains the digits 1 through 9 exactly once.

How a turn works

Select an empty cell, then enter a digit. If a number already appears in that row, column, or box, it cannot go there.

Use notes to pencil in candidates. When only one candidate remains, place it.
