How to Play the Number Puzzle
The goal
Place the numbers 1 through n so each row and each column contains each number once. Thick outlines mark cages. Every cage shows a target and an operation.
Operations
A + cage must sum to the target. A × cage must multiply to the target. A − or ÷ cage uses two cells; order does not matter as long as the result is the target. A single-cell cage is just that number.
