The 1-2 along a wall
When a 1 sits next to a 2 on an edge, the mine is usually on the far side of the 2. Learn that pair and you stop guessing early.
Guess only at the end
If two cells are a true 50/50, it does not matter which you pick. Do all forced moves first so you do not guess a solvable cell.
